What Changed This Year in 2nd PUC (Important for Students)

This year, KSEAB has made two big changes to help more students:

  1. Passing Marks Reduced
    • Earlier you needed 35% in every subject.
    • Now you need only 30% in each subject (theory + internal/practical together).
    • Overall, you need 33% total marks (that is, 198 marks out of 600). This change will help many students who were just short of passing.
  2. Improvement Exam Rules Changed
Students can now attempt improvement only within the same academic year or the next. A new
marksheet will be issued only after you return the old one.

These changes were made to increase the pass percentage and match national standards.
